Wolfram Walter is the harbormaster at the marina where I keep my boat. He also taught me the theory of sailing when I was working on getting my sailing licence - 12 years ago!

He is still the man I turn to when I need advise about my boat or sailing, in general.
During the summers, Wolfram manages the marina at Bad Saarow, but in the winter he charters large sailboats, invites 6 to 8 paying guests and cruises through the Pacific - places like Tahiti and Bora Bora.

He's been urging me to come along for years, and the sailing sounds very appealing, but then I found out that they spend the evenings playing cards and drinking beer - not exactly my kind of thing.
