Pablo

Pablo Dietz is a physical therapist, born here in Berlin to a German mother and a father from Nicaragua. He grew up in a group house and claims that he had "three fathers and two mothers"; five parents who taught him a wide range of life's possibilities and obligations.

He graduated from high school in 2005, just after a tsunami had devastated part of Thailand. Diploma still in hand, he boarded a flight to Asia and spent a year helping to build a home/ school for 140 children who had been orphaned by that catastrophe. These were children who had lost everything and still enjoyed life, had a positive outlook, and were full of gratitude.

On returning to Germany, he was shocked at the importance given to unimportant things and the constant complaining over everything. His experience in Thailand had taught him to help others, be willing to share, and to concentrate on the really important things in life.

"Especially in these difficult Corona times, I wish everyone had had my life changing experiences and understood that being there for each other is more important that just looking out for oneself."

Needless to say, Pablo is an excellent therapist but above all, a very special human being.
