We have known eleven year-old Viana Talebi since her Iranian family moved into our apartment building about eight years ago. Her mother is an MRI technician and her father owns the kiosk shop on our street. Assisted with her English by Gila, Viana is a straight A student and does beautiful watercolor paintings, to boot. She will be starting the German equivalent of junior high school in September and we are certain that her academic career, along with her artistic abilities will continue to grow.
